Don't take life too seriously. Most humans are a mess, so don't take life too personally or seriously. You tend to think somebody does something to you, but really what they are doing is they are doing what they are doing while they are in front of you. It's not that much about you. Understand this, and you will be less surprised, react less, and be less hurt.
Stop being so idealistic. Being ambitious is good, but being idealistic is not. Thinking can only get you so far. Often, you will need to do things, especially things that you don't like. You don't know what is going to happen until you do it and see it for yourself. Yes, it is good to be a bit thoughtful and plan things out, but don't become so obsessed with planning that you end up not doing anything. Sure, it's scary. Things might not go as you planned. But they can also go better than you planned. The point is you wouldn't know until you do it.
It's normal to feel anxious or depressed. Depression and anxiety are normal reactions to the world we live in. It's normal, especially so when you are going through big mental transitions in your life (moving to a new city, starting a new job). Although it sucks, it's not something that you can't overcome. Take care of yourself. Don't be too hard on yourself. Find your hobbies and do them. Learn something new. Talk to your friends. Get to know them better. Exercise. Drink enough water. Eat well. Get enough sleep.
